Your personal information is collected to verify your identity, understand your financial background in order to us to provide you with a personalised investment portfolio and to meet the requirements of all applicable laws and regulations

Information about your risk profile will enable our algorithms to work towards building a personalised portfolio for you, that is fit for you to reach your financial goal.

Our partner broker and custodian will execute your trade orders as well as to provide custodial services for your securities to ensure that they are safe and secure. For each investment strategy (whether it is goal based or factor based), you will need one brokerage account.

You only need one account for Crea8. But for each thematic investment plan, whether it is goal based or factor based, you will need one brokerage account. This way, you can track the performance of each investment plan easily. It is easy to open additional brokerage account once your first account has been opened.

Yes, Crea8 allows you to open a joint account but only one email is registered in our system. That would be the primary email and is used for all correspondences. We encourage both users to have joint access to that email. Both joint account holders should also open a joint account at our broker partner.

Our partner broker offers 3 types of joint accounts: Tenants with Rights of Survivorship, Tenancy in Common, Community Property, or Tenancy by the Entirety. Each of these joint account types is limited to two account holders. We suggest that you choose “Joint Tenants with Rights of Survivorship” which means that if one of the parties passes away, the assets in the account pass by the rule of law—outside of probate—to the surviving party.

In a cash account, all transactions must be made with available cash or long positions.
A margin account allows an investor to borrow against the value of the assets in the
account to purchase new positions or sell short.

If you choose a cash account then you are restricted to holding only long cash balances
regardless of the currency of denomination. If you choose a margin account you may
change your base currency at any time through Account Management and may affect
deposits or withdrawals in a non-Base currency.

Choosing a cash vs. margin account is whether you want to borrow against your portfolio or short. Both will enjoy the same fees from Crea8 or our broker partner.

Base currency is used for accounting purposes to refer to the currency in which you maintain your book of accounts. For purposes of your broker account, you will specify at the point of application a single base currency which will determine the currency of translation for statements and the currency used for determining margin requirements. While the base currency selected will typically be the principal form of currency in which you intend to hold cash and the denomination of instruments which you trade, you are eligible to hold cash balances and trade instruments denominated in either a base or non-base currency.

You can choose either AUD, CAD, CHF, CNH, CZK, DKK, EUR, GBP, HKD, HUF, ILS, JPY, MXN, NOK, NZD, RUB, SEK, SGD or USD as your base currency. You are restricted to making deposits and withdrawals in any one of the aforementioned currencies. You need not fund your account in your chosen base currency, but as long as it is in one of the aforementioned based currencies.

Yes, you can. You just need to have separate emails for each account that you open. Each account will also be linked to a separate brokerage account.

You will need at least USD 2,000 in the broker account. For accounts less than USD 2,000, you should open a cash account. To change between cash and margin accounts, go to your Client Portal and select Account Type from Settings. Once changed, you can reapply for a margin account after 30 days.
