Security and Privacy

Yes, Crea8 Capital Sdn Bhd is licensed in Malaysia by the Securities Commission Malaysia (eCMSL/A0369/2020) and Crea8 Capital Incorporated is licensed by the Labuan Financial Services Authority (SL/20/0013).

Your money is held in segregated client accounts with the custodian. This means that your money and portfolio assets are fully segregated from Crea8 and you can enjoy full protection in the unlikely event of Crea8’s or our broker partner’s insolvency. 

Your securities accounts will receive protection from a regulator sanctioned investor protection scheme for up to a maximum coverage of USD500,000 (with a cash sublimit of USD250,000) and under our broker partners’ policy, with certain underwriters, for up to an additional USD30 million (with a cash sublimit of USD900,000) subject to an aggregate limit of USD150 million.

We store your information in secure databases. In addition, we take substantial precautions to safeguard your personal, nonpublic information: We are fully in compliant with the personal data protection laws. We never sell or trade your personal information to outside marketing firms. We restrict access to the personal, nonpublic information that you have shared with us to only those employees who need to know such information in connection with the services that we provide to you. We maintain strict employment policies that prohibit employees who have access to your personal, nonpublic information from using or disclosing such information. Our systems include security measures such as encryption and firewalls.
