Build Your Own

If you are using our Goal based investing service, log in to your account and click “Add new plan“. If you are using our Factor based investing service, log in to your account and click “Strategy” > click “Design Your Own Strategy“. You have two options to build your own strategy:
  • In Analytics, use Crea8’s stock screener, big data analytics to shortlist and select. Then, specify the amount to invest; or
  • In Advisory, use Crea8’s proprietary algorithm to construct by specifying your investment universe (which theme, industry, country), your investment style (balance, dividend or growth) and your risk preference. Then our algorithm will optimise the portfolio for you.
In Analytics, you have full control over the portfolio construction process. We help by letting you use our stocks and funds screener, and big data analytics. You set the size of your positions yourself. In Advisory service, we advise you on your investments using our proprietary algorithm, a wide array of fundamental factors and big data analytics. You can adopt our pre-optimised strategies, modify them or design it entirely on your own by setting your requirements in our algorithm.
You can leverage on our big data analytics and alternative/fundamental data; and have total control in determining the composition and size of your positions. Our automated portfolio monitoring service is available so that you can place the necessary “cut loss” or “take profit” orders to safeguard your portfolio.
The Advisory service has a powerful portfolio construction algorithm which allows you to design and build an optimal risk-adjusted strategy.
Simply enter your preferred overall investment style, investment universe, stock selection method and risk management values. Our smart algorithm will then create an optimal risk-adjusted strategy for you.
Changing the name and image of a strategy is not allowed at this point. If you want it changed, you can create a new strategy and delete the old strategy.

Yes, you can. If you are using our Factor based service, it will be stored under ‘Draft’ or ‘My Strategies‘.

Yes, you can. If you are using our Goal based investing service, it will be stored under ‘Advice‘.

Once you have built your strategy, click on the “Save” button on the strategy page. To access the saved strategy, go to “My Strategies”.

Yes, you can. If you have created a strategy and have cancelled it instead of saving it, that strategy will appear in your ‘Draft’ folder under ‘My Strategies‘

Yes, you can. On you “My Strategies” page, click on the particular strategy that you want to change. Then, click “Edit Strategy”.

Yes, you can. On the “Advice” page, click on the particular plan that you want to change. Then click “Edit Plan“.

You get to invest in the 2,500 stocks across 20 different countries or the 400 listed ETFs.

The number of shares for each stock to be purchased or sold is calculated based on the dollar amount you entered using the stock prices at that time. Since stock prices move up and down, the actual transacted amount will only be determined at the time the order is executed at the market.
The weights you entered are used to calculate the number of shares to be purchased based on the stock prices at that time. Over time, the value of each stock in your strategy moves up and down. This causes a change on the dollar weights of your strategy. As the value of a stock in your strategy increases, so will the corresponding weight of that stock, and vice versa.

You can build as many strategies as you like. However, you need to ensure that you maintain only one investment strategy per brokerage account. For build your own strategy using our Analytics, as you are managing it yourself, you will need to segregate the positions by your investment strategies yourself.
